Lento was created in response to a new model of work in which recovery is part of productivity, not the opposite. The name comes from Spanish and means “slowly,” “without haste.” It is a deliberate reference to the need to pause in a fast-paced work environment.

Founder of the Calma Creative studio in Valencia, creating furniture characterised by simple forms, natural materials and technical innovation. When designing, she relies on data on target groups and production processes, combining analysis with intuition.
