About us

Company Bejot has taken leading position in the polish office furniture market for many years.

Bejot is a customer friendly, socially responsible and environmentally friendly company. An important part of strategic activities, culture and management philosophy is our environmental care.
Starting as a small joiner’s shop, during 25 years the company has become a dynamically growing manufacturer of office chairs and armchairs.
At present we employ over 140 people and the monthly output amounts to about 10 000 chairs and armchairs.
Every year Bejot expands and plans further capital expenditure . Our pride are modern machines we have purchased for the last 5 years. Bejot works with recognized designers on a daily basis thanks to which designers of new models are always distinguished by originality and functionality.

Manufacture and market creation in the line of office chairs and armchairs characterized by great design, high quality and good ergonomics, supported by modern know-how acquired from occupational health institutions. 
We create our products in cooperation with famous European designers, with strict rules concerning the selective choice of resources and components, so that our products are guaranteed to bring their long-term users satisfaction

The most important event in Bejot company

1984

  • A factory of Jerzy Semeniuk comes into existence. It was specializing in wooden articles, construction materials and wooden lamp components

1991

  • The management in the 5 person firm was taken over by Dariusz Wilk
  • A first metal based chair “Barbara” was produced .
  • The carpenter’s company changed its strategy of the activity setteling market objectives in the sector of office seats for communication zones.

1992

  • The firm changed for BJ MEBLE Jerzy Semeniuk and continued the development of the production according to the new market strategy.

1995

  • The firm made a purchase of a property in Manieczki near Śrem where the production facility and administration was moved.
  • For the first time Bejot took part in the International Poznań Trade Fair :“Furniture”.

1996

  • We designed the first swivel chair called “Lech”. The promotion of the new collection on the basis of the office chairs took place at the following International Trade Fair In Poznań.
  • First business contacts in Italy and Czech Republic.

1997

  • The first foreign presentation of Bejot Product at the Trade Fair in Moscow.

1998

  • The Firm turns into civil partnership under the name BEJOT.
  • Dariusz Wilk became a strategic shareholder with business partner Jerzy Semeniuk.
  • A new line for powder painting was built.
  • The partnership reorganized the production activity and management.
  • First structures of sales, logistic and production department were created.
  • In cooperation with company Westaro (Germany) , product laboratory of air seats in Germany and planning office of Bjorn Gerbert collection “String” was created

2000

  • “Linea” - a system of the free arrangement in communication zones had its first night at the international Trade Fair In Poznań.
  • For the first time ever Bejot participated in the international Furniture Fair “Orgatec” in Cologne.

2001

  • Promotion of the coherent seminar system “Set Up” by Ronald Straubel (Germany).
  • We signed a distribution contract with german company Sedus.
  • Bejot participated in the Trade Fair in Budapest.

2002

  • The firm changed the legal form for the General Partnership under the name “BEJOT General Partnership”.
  • The present logo was created

2004

  • We invested in two new halls: production and warehouse.
  • We increase our production capacity and automating of the production.

2005

  • The building of a new office block and a showroom was started .

2006

  • At the Orgatec Trade Fair We present a new system of the conference chairs VIM was presented by Piotr Kuchciński

2007

  • Opening of a new office building and receiving ISO 9001 certificate.
  • Armchairs Ekta and Clubin were awarded in the contest “Dobry Wzór” (eng: “good design”) by Institute of Industrial Design.
  • Bejot increases its legal security and turns into limited liability company.

2008

  • Bejot again displays its products at the prestigious Orgatec Fair in Cologne, promoting the newest collections In Access and Atria.
  • The old part of the office building was modernized.
  • The warehouse space was enlarged by adding a new hall of 900 square meters.
  • The implementation of Kaizen system was started and new processes of company organization improvement were initiated .

2009

  • An implementation of a new IT system of ERP class which comprises all the fields of our activity.
  • A further improvement of the machine park – most of the production processes takes place on the basis of CNC machines.
  • Our products Voo Voo and Clubin achieved a distinction in the prestigious contest “Machina Design Awards” – the armchair In Access won an award in the contest “Meble Plus” in the category “Executive Armchair”.
  • A promotion of the In Access collection took place at the “100% Design” fair in Rotterdam In June.
  • For the first time Bejot products were exhibited at the Hotel furniture trade fair both in Warsaw “World Hotel” and in Poznań “Invest Hotel”.
  • BEJOT signed the member agreement with Scientific Research Consortium whose leader is a team of Wood Technology Institute from Poznan University of Life Sciences.

2010

  • A CMR system was introduced.
  • The plans of improving the production efficiency are continued.
  • BEJOT develops its products on the basis of study results regarding the orthopedics and healthy seating from Scientific Research Consortium at the Poznan University of Life Sciences.
  • Promotion of Bejot Products in the Arabic countries.

2013

  • Company’s development - the completion of the construction of a new warehouse
  • Implementation of ISO 14001:2004, (compliance with the Environment Management System with ISO 14001:2004)

2014

  • Launch of a modern polyurethane foam production line.
