biophilia in office space

Biophilia in the office is a design approach that involves introducing elements of nature into the workspace, such as plants, natural materials, organic forms and muted colors inspired by nature. Studies show that contact with nature, even in an indirect form, reduces stress levels, improves concentration and overall employee well-being. Thus, in the modern work environment, biophilia is becoming not just a trend, but a real support for efficiency.

biophilia in form

Furniture and furnishings with organic, rounded forms that mimic natural lines and curves create a harmonious and welcoming space. The Flos collection, inspired by the shape of flower petals, and Alberi panels, evoking the impression of trees and shrubs, bring nature and tranquility to the interior.

natural fabrics and materials

A selection of soft, tactile fabrics such as Lodge, Alpa, Charles and Fenno, as well as natural fabrics such as: Ally, Blazer, Synergy, bring warmth and comfort to the interior. Soft fabrics in natural colors promote relaxation for guests and enhance the aesthetics of the space. Complemented by furniture with wood elements that increases the effect of naturalness. Tres hanger, Wei chair or Saar shelving system with wooden elements bring warmth and naturalness of the material to the office.

colors of nature

Nature-inspired colors do not dominate a space, but subtly organize it, reducing visual chaos and excess stimuli. A natural color palette also influences mood: greens are associated with balance and regeneration, beiges and earth tones bring a sense of stability, and soft blues promote focus and calm.

light and plants

An important element of biophilia is plants - both free-standing and incorporated into shelves, walls or mobile partitions. Greenery not only improves the aesthetics of the interior, but also gently dampens sounds. The presence of plants in the office has a soothing effect, reducing tension and promoting recovery during the day, creating a more friendly and balanced work environment.

Biophilia also means making the most of daylight and avoiding overly cluttered furniture. Proper placement of furnishings maintains an unobstructed flow, better visibility and natural contact with the environment, which contributes to comfort at work and a sense of space.
